Barrackpore Trunk Road forms part of the West Bengal State Highway 1. It is a well maintained four laned road. There are many landmarks that you will see on this road while you travel from Titagarh to Howrah which includes Rabindra Bharati University, Indian Statistical Institute, College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital and Bengal Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Panihati, National Textile Corporation. You start your journey from Titagarh. First road that you take to go towards Howrah is Barrackpore trunk road. Then as soon as you cross National Textile Corproration, turn right onto PWD road. You will then pass by Mahamilan math after which you turn left towards Grand Trunk road. You will then come across Allahabad bank after which you have to turn left towards Dr Abani Dutta road.  You would then come across Lakhotia Medical Centre then turn right at Shree Ganesh Mandir onto Salkia School Rd. Another landmark that you would see on this road is Golabari Police Station after which you would take the Bankim Setu which will make you reach your destination, Howrah.

Barrackpore trunk road and Grand trunk road are extremely good road as they are state highways. You can also have some quick grabs on Barrackpore trunk road as you will find many CCD's, Cafe town, V cafe. Vidyasagar Setu

It is the Second Hooghly Bridge which was started in 1992. The architecture and technology of this bridge is extremely fine and modern. This bridge connects the cities of Kolkata and Howrah with the help of a number of over-bridges intricately. This bridge is located at about 1.5 k.m. from Ravinrda Setu towards its south. The view from the bridge is very beautiful.
